Who we are:

Sandy DeWitt has had a passion for photography since her teens.  With her first 110 camera, she taught herself the composition of the photograph, darkroom techniques, and commercial lighting for the Architectural Industry.  She brought this knowledge to her studies at the Rhode Island School of Photography, where she excelled in Portrait techniques, commercial product shots, journalism, wedding, darkroom & studio work. She graduated fourth in her class in 1985. Since graduation Sandy has been pursuing freelance assignments.  Her clients include Acacia Group Insurance; the Dietze Construction Group of Florida; the well-known watercolor artist Houston Edward Hancock; award-winning mystery and romance authors Barbara Cummings and Jo-Ann Power; and Kentucky Living, Easy Rider and Paparazzi magazines.

 

She resides in Homestead Florida with her husband Bob and their menagerie of animals.

 

Sandy is looking forward to helping your images see reality.

 

Oh, and by the way, she doesn’t use a 110 anymore! She’s future-focused digital.
