Sandy DeWitt is a self inspired architectural artist with skills grounded in the master processes of photography. Her passion for the craft of photography began at an early age and was explored through the influences of Adams, Guerrero & Shulman. She studied at Rhode Island School of Photography where she graduated 4th in her class.
During her extensive career she has gained recognition within the architecture, design & construction industries by creating marketing imaging that exceeds field conditions. She is admired among her peers for presenting clean pristine imaging. The passion she brings to each of her clients portfolios stems from her keen eye for the details which help to define the fluidness between their designed spaces and function. This passion is apparent in her numerous awards, Best of Show & Court of Honor recognitions throughout her competition career. She was named AIA Miami Architectural Photographer of the Year for 2013.
Sandy resides in South Florida with her husband and menagerie of animals. While shooting projects worldwide, supporting community outreach for education, and organizing photographic working societies focused on the exploration of architecture she is currently working on her personal project: Urban Decay: Tyranny. It sets to explore the relationship between the tyranny of aging and urban spaces.
